Refined & Latest: WAM Studio Just Leveled Up

We’re excited to announce the launch of the **refined and latest version** of **WAM Studio**. This isn’t a small update—it’s a step up in what you can do with the editor: from **AI collaboration** and **version history** to a more powerful canvas and toolset. Here’s what’s new.

Advanced Features

AI Collaboration

WAM Studio now supports **AI-aware diagramming** so you can model systems that include AI components. In the Tools panel you’ll find a dedicated **AI NODES** section:

**Dataset** – Represent data sources that feed into your AI flows.

**AI Process Unit** – Model where AI processing happens.

**AI Application** – Applications that leverage AI.

**AI Service** – AI services exposed to the rest of your architecture.

Together with standard nodes (Application, Data Provider, Identity Provider, Process Unit, Security Realm, Service) and edges (Trust, Invocation, Legacy), you can describe both classic and AI-driven systems in one place. That’s the foundation for **AI collaboration** in your diagrams: everyone sees the same language and structure.

Version History

We know that diagrams evolve. The new **version history** lets you track changes over time, compare versions, and revert when needed. No more losing work or guessing what changed—you get a clear timeline of your diagram’s life so teams can iterate safely and collaborate with confidence.

Richer Canvas & Tools

The canvas stays clean and focused, but the **Tools** sidebar is now more capable. Drag and drop nodes, connect them with the right edges, and zoom or fit the view with the controls in the corner. File, Edit, View, and Diagram menus give you more ways to work without clutter. It’s the same “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” idea—more power, still intuitive.
